Senior Accountant/Public Accounting Firm

Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities:

Preparation/review of notice to reader, review engagement and audited financial statements.

Preparation/review of personal and corporate income tax returns and other tax slips

Preparation/review of GST and PST returns

Work directly with personal and corporate tax clients and government agencies

Managing and providing training to other staff members

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of public practice experience

Completed CPA Accounting designation or close to completing the CPA program

Knowledge of Caseware, Jazzit/Caseview, Profile, DT Max, Sage 50, Quickbooks (desktop and online), and Excel

Strong written and verbal English communication skills
